Update from Little Bluebell Devon!
The Little Bluebell team have had a busy and exciting first month down here in Devon.
The Devon team along with Ruth and Anna had a meeting with the Little Bluebell project funders, Clare from Comic Relief and Avril from Little Something. It was a real honour to meet them both in person and discuss the project’s importance and how fantastic this service will be for mums living in Torbay and the South Hams.
The Team also attended the “I’m Fine” training in Exeter. The training used a mix of a very powerful theatre performance, power points and discussion to give us a real insight into Perinatal Mental Health. Julie and Sam our amazing Buddies along with several other parents with lived experience also spoke at the training. Their courage in sharing their stories was admirable and so great to have some dads there too.
The little Bluebell team are having regular team meetings and getting excited about delivering the first Comfort Zone programme in September, more about that nearer the time!
Next stop Bristol for some training. We can’t wait to come and meet the Bluebell team and visit Bluebell place. It’s all rather exciting!
