This summer term has been a brilliant one for the Little Bluebell team. We had the most fantastic time doing our awareness and fundraising walk at the start of June.

News from Little Bluebell

The birth of a child can provoke great change. Life can turn upside down for a while and this transition can bring challenges, when we may struggle with feelings associated with anxiety and low mood. We have recently been raising awareness of maternal mental health by having a stand at our local Morrisons and Mothercare stores.

We want women to know that if they feel overwhelmed, sad and lonely at a time when they feel they shouldn't, that they are not alone and there is support out there.
Little Bluebell are currently in the middle of delivering 2 new Mums’ Comfort  Zone programmes, one in Paignton at the new Children's Centre, Bishops Place and one in Totnes at the Daisy Centre.
We are also organising a 54km sponsored walk happening between June 8-9th, taking in the river, coast and countryside of Torbay and South Hams. The Little Bluebell team, friends and women who have benefited from the service will be taking part. Our hope is that by getting out in nature and walking together, we can give hope to others that things will change and that they are not alone. As well as having a good time, we hope to raise awareness and funds for Bluebell Care to support the great work they do.
