Peer Support Worker

We are looking for a new peer support worker to support parents experiencing perinatal mental health difficulties with 1:1 peer support & co-facilitating our wellbeing group sessions.

At Bluebell we are passionate about supporting all parents with their emotional wellbeing and mental health during pregnancy, birth and beyond. We want to make sure that everyone who needs it can access support and we are looking for a Bluebell Buddy to join our team.

We are ideally looking for someone who has previous lived experience of perinatal mental health difficulties after becoming a parent. Working flexibly, the role will involve supporting parents individually and in group settings for a minimum of 15 hours per week, for 45 weeks a year. You will be based at home but working within the community. Induction, training programme and regular supervision will be provided and salary will be £22,000 pro-rata.
