Lots happening at Bluebell Place!

Since we opened our doors to our new perinatal emotional wellbeing hub, Bluebell Place, in September, we have hit the ground running!

It's been amazing to see so many lovely mums, dads and little ones coming to take part in the daily activities we have on offer at Bluebell Place. We've also recently received some additional funding from Children In Need, which means we can now provide playworkers to mind little ones. Mums & Dads can take some time out, knowing their infants are in the care of Emma, our creche leader and Kerry and Helen, our two playworkers, who between them have a wealth of expertise in delivering nurturing and gentle environments where infants can discover and explore through sensory play.

Here's what's on offer every week at Bluebell Place:

Monday - 10.45 - 11.45 - Walk & Talk with Jess - meet at Bluebell Place and go for a gentle walk with others who understand, come back and have good coffee and cake! Followed by a drop-in with our Buddy, Hannah, from 1-2.30pm, where you can come and meet her for an initial chat.

Tuesday - 9.45 - 11.30 Tinies Tuesday nurturing play session for parents & infants up to age 2 years with Emma, our creche leader and team. Antenatal Yoga from midday - 1pm led by Gladey, helping mums relax in pregnancy, followed by a drop-in with our Buddy, Paula, from 1-2.30pm, where you can come and meet her for an initial chat.

Wednesday: Woolly Wednesday from 10.30 - 12.30 - a chance to knit, crochet and chat with our lovely volunteers Lisa and Amy and other mums. Playworkers on hand to mind little ones. Lisa is also on hand until 2pm for one to one chats with mums.

Thursday: Drop-in day with Rachel, our Occupational Therapist from 10.30 - 12.30, with playworkers on hand to mind little ones.

Friday: Feel Good Friday - from midday - 2pm - book in for a relaxing treatment, such as a head and shoulder massage or reflexology or come and have a makeover and your nails painted.

Call us to book sessions or just to find out more, on 0117 922 0746 or email us at: info@bluebellcare.org or see our facebook page: facebook/bluebellsupportingfamilies for regular posts about everything going on at Bluebell Place.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
