St Paul's Service Launched!
We have now launched our third service in Bristol, with a new group programme based at the St Paul's Children's Centre on Little Bishop Street and a new one to one Buddy service covering St Paul's, Easton, Montpelier and the Cheltenham Road areas. The group is now in its' fifth week and will run for 8 weeks, starting again in September for a new group of mums. Mums can self-refer or be referred by their health visitor, GP or another agency and all the referral forms can be found here on our website under 'Contact Us'. Both the new group and the Buddy service have been made possible by our five-year grant from The Big Lottery.
In other news, the Henbury group covering North Bristol, based at Henbury Court Children's Centre is still going well as is the group for younger mums based in South Bristol, at the Teenage Parents' Project. The Dads' Zone group is still meeting and Glynn, our Dads worker is very happy to take more referral for this from any Dad who may be struggling due to depression and anxiety or who may be supporting a partner through Postnatal Depression.
We will be running a summer programme for mums in South Bristol and two special fun days for mums & children over the summer at Henbury Children's Centre, so do get in touch if you live in these areas and would be interested in coming along, or if you would be interested in joining any of the Mums' Comfort Zone groups starting in September.
